Cable Weights

Split Design: The weight is split in the middle, enabling it to be easily installed and adjusted on the boat lift cable. This flexibility allows you to position the weight wherever it is needed most to keep the cable straight on the pipe and prevent bunching. Cable Grooves: The weight is equipped with cable grooves that are specifically cast into it. These grooves enable the weight to securely clamp to both sides of the cable, ensuring a firm grip and minimizing slippage during operation. Material: Crafted from high-quality lead, this cable weight is built to last. Lead is known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and ability to provide sufficient weight without being excessively bulky. Size and Dimensions: The weight measures 4 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 4 inches in height, making it compact and easy to handle. Its ball-shaped design ensures uniform weight distribution and stability. Cable Compatibility: The weight is designed to accommodate cable sizes up to 5/16 inches in diameter. It is compatible with clamp-style cables that feature a shallow groove, providing a secure fit and optimal performance. Fasteners Included: The package includes all the necessary fasteners for easy installation. It consists of two 5/16 inch x 1 3/4 inch galvanized GR2 hex head bolts, two 5/16 inch galvanized split lock washers, and two 5/16 inch galvanized nuts. These high-quality fasteners are hot-dipped galvanized to enhance their durability and resistance to corrosion. Versatile Applications: The large hole in the center of the weight is not intended for the cable but rather for bolting the weight to aluminum beams or strap hangers. This versatility allows for convenient installation in various boat lift setups. Additional Weight Options: If desired, multiple weights can be added to the pre-installed boat lift cable to achieve the desired tension and stability. This feature allows for customization based on specific lift requirements and boat sizes. The 10 lb. Split Lead Cable Weight is a reliable and versatile solution for maintaining proper cable tension in boat lift systems. With its durable construction, adjustable design, and compatibility with various cable sizes, it ensures smooth and efficient boat lifting operations. Invest in this high-quality cable weight to enhance the performance and longevity of your boat lift system.
