0.75 HP Elite TENV Bremas Wired Motor
The 0.75 HP Elite TENV Bremas Wired Motor is a single-phase, dual-voltage boat lift motor. The motor is made to be mounted directly onto gearboxes, such as the A-Drive and E-Drive gearboxes, without needing a separate base. The motor comes with a painted housing, and at one end of the motor, there’s an aluminum end bell near the shaft.
This motor is engineered to seamlessly integrate with a range of flat-plate hoists from reputable brands like Boat Hoist USA, ACE Labs, American Power Hoist, AMS, and Hefty Hoist. It comes with detailed wiring instructions compatible with Breams and Salzer drum switches, ensuring smooth installation and operation. Additionally, it is fully compatible with remote controls from GEM, Galaxy, TEC, and Elite for convenient and efficient boat lift operation. Furthermore, this motor is equivalent to the Leeson boat hoist motor #6439191252, providing comparable performance and reliability.
You can choose between a Bremas maintained (lock-on) or momentary (spring-loaded) boat lift switch. Both switches are connected with 14/5 SJTW control cable, with the in-line GFCI located 4 1/2 inches away from the plug. The type of plug and GFCI wired to the wiring harness depends on your motor voltage selection.
The motor has a horsepower of 0.75 (equivalent to 3/4 HP) and works with either 115 volts or 230 volts. It operates in a single phase with amperage ratings of 11.0 for 115 volts and 5.5 for 230 volts. Running at a speed of 1725 RPM with a frequency of 60 Hz, it fits a frame size of 56c and has a service factor of 1.25. The motor’s SFA (Service Factor Amps) is 12.5 for 115 volts and 6.2 for 230 volts, categorized as Type C. It’s built to withstand an ambient temperature of up to 40°C and has a minimum operating time of 15 minutes. The motor is designed with a TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated) housing, with insulation rated as class B. It’s recognized by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) with a cRUus stamp.
Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV)
A Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated motor is a type of electric motor that is enclosed to prevent the ingress of foreign particles (dust, moisture, etc.) but does not have external ventilation openings for air circulation. Unlike some other motor types, TENV motors do not rely on external airflow for cooling and are designed to operate in a sealed environment.
