0.75 HP Elite TENV Stainless Bremas Wired Motor
The 0.75 HP Elite TENV Stainless Electric Motor, a single-phase, dual-voltage boat lift motor. The motor is made to be mounted directly onto gearboxes, such as the A-Drive and E-Drive gearboxes, without needing a separate base. Made from stainless steel housing and features aluminum end plates that resist corrosion and rust. The heavy marine-grade gasket on the stainless steel capacitor housing helps keep water and dust out. Easy to wire with standard yellow T-Wires and works with any known drum switch or boat lift remote.
This motor is engineered to seamlessly integrate with a range of flat-plate hoists from reputable brands like Boat Hoist USA, ACE Labs, American Power Hoist, AMS, and Hefty Hoist. It comes with detailed wiring instructions compatible with Breams and Salzer drum switches, ensuring smooth installation and operation. Additionally, it is fully compatible with remote controls from GEM, Galaxy, TEC, and Elite for convenient and efficient boat lift operation. Furthermore, this motor is equivalent to the Leeson boat hoist motor #6439191252, providing comparable performance and reliability.
You can choose between a Bremas maintained (lock-on) or momentary (spring-loaded) boat lift switch. Both switches are connected with 14/5 SJTW control cable, with the in-line GFCI located 4 1/2 inches away from the plug. The type of plug and GFCI wired to the wiring harness depends on your motor voltage selection.
The motor has a power of 0.75 horsepower and can be used with either 115 volts or 230 volts. It operates in a single phase and draws 11.2 amps at 115 volts or 5.6 amps at 230 volts. Running at a speed of 1725 RPM with a frequency of 60 Hz, it fits a frame size of 56c and has a service factor of 1.15. The motor’s SFA (Service Factor Amps) is 12.4 at 115 volts and 6.2 at 230 volts, classified as Type C. It’s designed to operate at temperatures up to 40°C for at least 15 minutes. The motor has a TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated) housing, with insulation rated as class F. It’s recognized by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) with a C-UL-US stamp.
Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV)
A Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated motor is a type of electric motor that is enclosed to prevent the ingress of foreign particles (dust, moisture, etc.) but does not have external ventilation openings for air circulation. Unlike some other motor types, TENV motors do not rely on external airflow for cooling and are designed to operate in a sealed environment.
