1 HP Elite IP44 Salzer Wired Motor
The 1 HP Elite IP44 Salzer Wired Motor is a single-phase, dual-voltage (115v/230v) electric boat lift motor. The shell of the motor is painted a gray color with aluminum end bells. The motor is made to be mounted directly onto gearboxes, such as the A-Drive and E-Drive gearboxes, without needing a separate base.
You can choose between a Salzer maintained (lock-on) or momentary (spring-loaded) boat lift switch. Both switches are connected with 14/5 SJTW control cable, with the in-line GFCI located 4 1/2 inches away from the plug. The type of plug and GFCI wired to the wiring harness depends on your motor voltage selection.
This motor has a power of 1 horsepower (HP) and can run on either 115 volts or 230 volts. At 115 volts, it uses 15.6 amps, and at 230 volts, it uses 7.8 amps. It spins at a speed of 1725 revolutions per minute (RPM) with a frequency of 60 Hz. It fits into frame 56c and has a service factor of 1.15. It can handle up to 17.5 amps at 115 volts or 8.75 amps at 230 volts. It’s designed to work in temperatures up to 40°C for a maximum of 15 minutes. The housing is Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) with a code of H. It has insulation class F and is recognized by UL with a C-UL-US stamp.
IP44 (Ingress Protection)
First Numeral Protection (4): Provides protection against contact with live or moving components within the enclosure by tools, wires, or objects with a thickness greater than 1mm. Additionally, shields against the ingress of small solid foreign bodies (with a diameter exceeding 1mm), excluding ventilation openings (intake and discharge points for external fans) and the drain hole of the enclosed machine, which may feature level 2 protection.
Second Numeral Protection (4): Ensures that water splashed against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect.
