This 2 7/16 inch unit is a standard-duty pillow block bearing. It features a cast iron housing paired with a chrome steel insert ball bearing. The bearing includes a wide inner ring and a standard base-to-center height, making it a reliable choice for many applications.
It is designed with a 45-degree grease fitting, which allows for easy re-lubrication of the bearing. The insert bearing is secured with two set screws located on the extended inner ring. These screws help lock the bearing firmly onto the shaft.
Each mounted block bearing unit is pre-lubricated with grease. This means it is ready to install and use right out of the box, saving you time and effort.
