“The product looks exactly as it is presented on web. Design must be industry standard, but puts the key under output bearing on drive side instead of middle of bore as gearbox designers would advise. Has no means to retain shaft in gearbox. Leaves plenty of room for design improvements. Better would be a feather key fitted to the middle of the gearbox bore shaped to fit the milled keyslot, then a thrust washer & screw to fix the shaft to the gearbox. It is an interesting design, which we will definately look further into as to why it was made in this way instead of as gearbox manufactures would suggest. Maybe we are missing something?”
