The 8 in. Aluminum Structural Beam is an extruded aluminum I-beam. Made from marine-grade, extruded 6o61-T6 US aluminum. No weld construction. The sheave housings include the cradle beam mounting fasteners. Measures 12 ft. 6 in. L or 25 ft. L x 8 in. web x 5 in. flange. .250 in. web thickness. .410 in. flange thickness. 6.307 lbs. per linear ft.
Drilling into the aluminum structural beam compromises the integrity of the aluminum structural beam.
Beams cannot be shipped UPS Ground. The beams are secured to a pallet and ships via Freight. The end-user is responsible for unloading. Freight companies will not unload or drop off your load if you are not present. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to arrange a delivery date with the freight company. Shipping to a business address with a forklift is highly recommended by BH-USA.
