Boat Lift Switch Cable Gland
The Boat Lift Switch Cable Gland is an NPT Type A plastic cable gland. Designed to fit 14 gauge wire. The NPA21-14-G includes lock nut, O-ring, body, claw, seal, and sealing nut. Designed to attach and secure the end of an electrical cable to the equipment. Also known as a cord grip, cable strain relief, cable connector, or cable fitting. We use the glands to connect SJTW 14/5 boat lift control cable to Bremas brand drum switches.
Thread Type: NPT, according to ANSI B2.1.
Material Data: Halogen-free Nylon PA 66 (Flammability UL 94V-2) for A.C.E.F parts.
Weather-resistant EPDM rubbers for B.D parts. (NBR rubber is optional for oil-resistance applications).
Suitable for outdoor use. Subjected to UV light exposure and water immersion same as UL746C (f1) rating.
UV (Irradiance 340 nm) exposure was performed by using a xenon-arc weather meter for 1000 hours and intermittent exposure to water spray.
IP Protection: IP68 – 5 bar.
Working Temp.: – 40°C to 105°C. Short-Term to 160°C.
