1 HP Elite TENV Stainless Electric Motor
The 1 HP Elite TENV Stainless Electric Motor is a single-phase, dual-voltage boat lift motor. The motor is made to be mounted directly onto gearboxes, such as the A-Drive and E-Drive gearboxes, without needing a separate base. Made from stainless steel housing and features aluminum end plates that resist corrosion and rust. The heavy marine-grade gasket on the stainless steel capacitor housing helps keep water and dust out. Easy to wire with standard yellow T-Wires and works with any known drum switch or boat lift remote.
The 1 HP Elite TENV Stainless Electric Motor can be used on any known Boat Hoist with standard C-Face or C56 flange mount including the BH-USA A-Drive, E-Drive Golden Lift Sea-Drive, AMS Hefty Hoist E-Drive and A-Drive and also can be used on hoists used by Deco Lifts, Hi-Tide Lifts, Neptune Lifts and Hurricane Boat Lifts All Elite Boat Lift Motors come with detailed wiring instructions for Elite, Breams and Salzer brand Durm Switches. All Elite Boat Lift Motors are fully compatible with GEM Boat Lift Remotes, Galaxy Boat lift Remotes, TED Boat Lift Remotes and Elite Boat Lift Remotes.
The motor has a power of 1 horsepower and can run on either 115 volts or 230 volts. It operates in a single phase and draws 15.6 amps at 115 volts or 7.8 amps at 230 volts. Running at a speed of 1725 RPM with a frequency of 60 Hz, it fits a frame size of 56c and has a service factor of 1.15. The motor’s SFA (Service Factor Amps) is 17.5 at 115 volts and 8.75 at 230 volts, classified as Type C. It’s designed to operate at temperatures up to 40°C for at least 15 minutes. The motor features a TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated) housing, with insulation rated as class F and an IP rating of 54. It’s recognized by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) with a C-UL-US stamp.
Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV)
A Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated motor is a type of electric motor that is enclosed to prevent the ingress of foreign particles (dust, moisture, etc.) but does not have external ventilation openings for air circulation. Unlike some other motor types, TENV motors do not rely on external airflow for cooling and are designed to operate in a sealed environment.
