Weighted Compounding Bracket
The Weighted Compounding Bracket adds weight to each side of the boat lift cable under the compounded pulley. Hot dipped galvanized steel. Easy to install. Designed to safely add cable weights to a lift that has compounded cables. Proper use of the bracket will allow the cable to travel through the block with no obstructions that could damage the cable.
The flat compounding bracket measures 2 1/2 in. L x 3/8 in. W x 8 in. H. The shackle mounts at one end, the 10 lb. split lead weight in the middle, and the open hole is for a block (sold separately).
The 5/8 in. 3.25 Ton Galvanized Screw Pin Shackle is hot dipped galvanized per ASTM A153 standards. Features a heat-treated screw pin for securement. Manufactured out of forged steel then galvanized. Designed frequent removal. Permanently marked with size and working load limit (WLL), in tons. Designed to lift up to 3.25 tons of weight.
The 10 lb. Split Lead Cable Weight measures 3 3/4 in. wide and 3 in. height. Mounting fasteners included. Separates in the middle and is adjustable to whatever height you want on the cable. The split design gives the ability to tighten the weight to a fixed position on the cable. The cable weights help prevent the cable from bunching up by adding extra tension, keeping it straight on the pipe.
