1.5 HP Elite IP44 Electric Motor
The 1.5 HP Elite IP44 Electric Motor is a single phase, dual-voltage (115v/230v) electric boat lift motor. The shell of the motor is painted a gray color with aluminum end bells. The motor is made to be mounted directly onto gearboxes, such as the A-Drive and E-Drive gearboxes, without needing a separate base.
IP44 (Ingress Protection)
First Numeral Protection (4): This number shows that the enclosure protects against contact with live parts inside. It keeps out tools, wires, or objects thicker than 1mm. It also blocks small solid objects with a diameter larger than 1mm, except for ventilation openings and the drain hole, which may have a lower level of protection.
Second Numeral Protection (4): This number indicates that water splashed onto the enclosure from any direction will not cause harm.
