The snatch block is equipped with a 3 in. sheave, which is the grooved wheel that the cable passes through. The sheave is pre-mounted, ready for immediate use. It accepts up to 3/8 in. boat lift cable, allowing for compatibility with a wide range of lifting applications.

One notable feature of this snatch block is its 360-degree swivel capability. It can rotate completely, providing flexibility and convenience during lifting operations. This swivel design helps to minimize stress on the cable and enhance overall performance.

To ensure proper maintenance and longevity, the snatch block includes a 1/4 in. press-in grease fitting located on the side of the sheave housing. This fitting allows for easy lubrication, promoting smooth operation and reducing friction.

This pin securely locks the shackle in place, preventing accidental disengagement during lifting operations. The shackle bolt, also made from stainless steel, measures 2 7/8 in. x 1/2 in. It has a shackle opening of 1 in., providing a secure attachment point for the cable.

Please note that this snatch block does not fit the BH-USA 12 in. galvanized steel strap hanger. Always ensure that the selected shackle meets or exceeds the working load limit for the task at hand and is comparable to the Working Load Limit (WLL) of the slings and other rigging hardware being used.
